Moorland Picnic

|
|
I find burr seductive and try to invent ways of using it in its uncarved form to bring out its beauty. In this carving I see it as foliage. As an added bonus I found whilst carving that there was an old dead branch hidden in the new wood. This I left untouched and it became a rock. The only problem this caused was that I had to bend the body of two picnickers round the rock.
