Hawthorn Root - Height 16 inches
The root was turned upside down and rootlets became figures and arms. However, it did not work until I go the title right. When I started, I was thinking that it was "Putting up the Bunting", but it was impossible to get the bodies to look as if they could have climbed into the position dictated by the wood. It was only when I realised that a falling body does not have to be supported by the one below, that the title came to me and the carving began to work out.
