Heads are a natural extension of my interest in the human figure.   Most of these carvings have been learning exercises.    Some are an attempt to achieve realism and a lively expression.   Others have been made to see quite how far I can push the elements of a face and it still look human.     Most of the the work below is not for sale as it is where I have done my learning and I refer to them frequently          The prices are an indication of what a similar piece of work would cost now.   Commissions are welcome.
